Pathfinder Pilot

The Pathfinder pilot is a programme introduced to certain areas in England and Wales for private law family proceedings. In the Midlands, if you have a private law case in Birmingham and Solihull, you can expect a different approach, implementing the Pathfinder model.

The Pathfinder model focuses on providing a problem solving approach to private law children proceedings to reduce delays and decisions for children. The Pathfinder model places the voice of the child and impact on the child as its main aim. It also aims  to reduce the trauma to victims of domestic abuse as much as possible.
